Welcome to my blog where I will focus on the various art around Manchester. My name is Lydia and I am a 20 year old from Nottingham currently studying Multimedia Journalism at Manchester Metropolitan University. My blog explores the modern art of Manchester and 
its street scene.
I have always been interested in art, ever since I was younger. I enjoyed practicing art and I also enjoyed learning about it. I have recently moved to Manchester for university, and one of the main reasons I chose this city was because of its vibrant street art and eclectic mix that is the city of Manchester. The Northern Quarter in particular is my favourite place here in Manchester. The hipster like area is bursting with character, bohemian vibes and street art sprawled all over the red brick walls. And so it is Manchester’s artsy vibes that inspired me to make a blog to show it off in all its glory. I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing it!
